Exchange Server 2003  Cannot Receive Email
I haveExch Svr 03 SP2 running on a Win2k3 std svr. I recently had a server crash and I took the domain down and then built back from the ground up. The issue is that I cannot receive email now on my exchange server. I have run net diag and all is successful. I have the mx records properly setup in DNS with the appropriate PTR record. I am able to ping the server from the outside to port 25. I can send email to an outside address without issue. OWA and OMA work fine. (Active Sync with my Iphone works without issue) I have run the setup wizard under the exchange server and it tells me all is well. Where can I go from here? Thanks!

I do not think that it is giving me the proper response set q=mxentprise1erver: enterprise1.enterpriseitco.comddress: 192.168.1.30 nterpriseitco.com primary name server = enterprise1.enterpriseitco.com responsible mail addr = hostmaster serial = 76 refresh = 900 (15 mins) retry = 600 (10 mins) expire = 86400 (1 day) default TTL = 900 (15 mins)

The issue is that I am unable to Telnet into port 25 on the server directly. SMTP and IIS services say that they are functioning on the server.

So you can telnet to port 25 from the inside, but not from outside your network? You posted the result of an NSLOOKUP earlier, not an SMTP conversation.

Hi,I am confused why you could telnet 25 port from the outside but not available inside.Did you try to telnet 25 port of the Exchange server from the other internal clients? Please try to send the test email by using telnet command.ThanksAllen

I am unable to telnet from the host machine or from another machine within the domain. I have fixed my DNS issue but I am unable to receive.
